The snooker finals and PISC Xmas party was held up at Paul and Anita's house in Amargeti, finally after two months of qualifiers and competitions, Rod, Martin James and Alan battled it out for the PISC snooker championship. A most enjoyable end to 2009.

Xmas is upon us already! The PISC Treasure Hunt was a great success with 14 cars, find out who won. Six more members of PISC have gained their RYA level IIs at ESSC, read all about the cut nose, black eye, a real man overboard rescue and we finally find out why Pete inflated his life jacket! We reminisce over an action packed and successful 2009.

The Horse Appreciation meeting was enjoyed by all, (must be the whips) and over 50 members attended the Laying up Supper. Rod presents our first trophy! We continue with Annual Rally, find out who's the fastest, James recalls his horror story with the infamous Datcha storm and Paul describes why taking a long line ashore makes new friends.

At last PISC has won a trophy! Hooray! The Manijin BBQ was a huge success, (a bit hairy for the aqua-gliders!) We are all back from the Rally, Rod recalls the storm at Datcha and find out how Anita became an android! Richard is our new House Commodore and Dave has taken over the raffle from Gerald.

PISC takes on the might of the British military at Episkopi in our first ever sailing Regatta. We may have lost but we all had a fantastic time and really enjoyed ourselves. This is a special ESSC Regatta newsletter with extracts from those that took part.

Peter brings us up to date with the winter restorations as many of the dinghies are now getting near to completion, ready for Dhekelia Sailing Club Rally.

Happy new year! The Hangover Supper is still fresh in most of our minds, with over 80 members and guests attending an excellent evening and venue.
